At Wills Valley Community Church, we want you to feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you arrive.

You do not have to dress a certain way, have everything figured out, or come from a particular background to visit. Whether you have followed Christ for years, are looking for a church home, or simply have questions about faith, you are welcome here.

When you visit WVCC, you can expect a church family that gathers around the faithful teaching of God’s Word, Christ-centered worship, genuine relationships, and the life-changing message of the Gospel.

Our Vision

Wills Valley Community Church desires to be a Christ-centered, Scripture-governed church where people from different backgrounds and stages of life can worship God together, grow in their understanding of His Word, and experience meaningful Christian community.

We want to be a place where the hurting find compassion, the discouraged find encouragement, believers are equipped to serve, and those who do not yet know Christ clearly hear the Gospel.

Our desire is to make disciples in Fort Payne, throughout DeKalb County, and around the world by faithfully proclaiming Jesus Christ and helping people grow toward spiritual maturity.

What to Expect

• A Warm Welcome: From the moment you arrive, our greeters are available to help you find your way, answer questions, and make your visit as comfortable as possible.

• Come as You Are: There is no formal dress code. Some people dress up, while many wear jeans and casual clothing. We care much more about you being here than what you are wearing.

• Biblical Teaching: Our messages are grounded in Scripture and designed to help us understand God’s Word and apply it faithfully to everyday life. Sermon outlines and Bible passages are provided to help you follow along.

• Christ-Centered Worship: Our Worship Team leads the congregation in Scripture-grounded worship that helps us respond together to who God is and what He has done.

• Children’s Ministry: We are committed to providing children with a safe, caring environment where they can learn biblical truth and hear the Gospel in age-appropriate ways. Nursery and Children’s Church are available during Sunday morning worship.

• Student Ministry: Students have opportunities throughout the week to study Scripture, build friendships, ask questions, and grow in their faith.

• Nursing Mother’s Room: A private room with sound from the worship service and a one-way viewing window is available upstairs for nursing mothers. A greeter or someone at the Connection Booth will be happy to help you find it.

If you would like to learn more about our church, beliefs, leadership, ministry, and what it means to become part of the WVCC family, we invite you to attend one of our Membership 101 classes.

These classes are offered periodically and provide a clear introduction to the mission, doctrine, structure, and ministry of Wills Valley Community Church.

First-time visitors are always welcome to ask questions and become familiar with our children’s ministry before participating.
